The family owned restaurant Carpaccio is an Italian trattoria with a slight Hungarian twist. Located on Alsóörs Street, it has been open for more than a quarter of a decade and proves that traditional venues are just as comfortable and worthy as some of the more contemporary restaurants on the market. The menu is filled with creativity that does not follow the standard Italian cuisine of just pasta or pizza. Special attention is given to the ingredients using fresh mozzarella from Bakony and veal from the local butcher. We tried the insalata mista, a mixed green salad sourced by vegetables straight out of their garden. Afterwards, we enjoyed an excellent tagliatelle with flap mushrooms, and duck breast with veggies and avocado. Carpaccio truly delivers quality meals and the wine card does not disappoint!
