Sáfránkert located in Paloznak, is a bistro-style restaurant with cozy interior and a lovely garden. The menu is small consisting of 7 main courses, 3 options for soup, and 2 daily offers, which is common for restaurants in the countryside. Seasonal ingredients are used for preparing the meals. We tried the champignon cream soup with oysters and mushrooms to start and our main dish was the world’s finest grilled duck breast, tomato salad with homemade mozzarella and a glass of Homola wine. As a recommendation to all gardeners, this bistro has a herb garden worth visiting!
