The biggest season-opening wine event in Budapest, Rosalia Festival kicks off on the last day of May, bringing fine wines, street food, concerts and a myriad of family and recreational programs to Budapest's City Park (Városliget).
Traditonally, thousands of people meet at this three-day-long fest to welcome the upcoming summer with a few glasses of rosé or sparkling wine. The 8th edition will bring more than 50 winemakers, street food, cheese selection and desserts (offered by Ami Burger, Pizza Me, Gléda, Pola Pola, Low Cost Gourmet Trailer, Szega, Bolka Bonbon and Vitéz Kürtős) and many programs (including yoga classes, folk and music programs for kids). Performers on stage will include Aurevoir, Mary Popkids, Bágyi Balázs Quartet, Peet Project, Animal Cannibals, Parno Graszt, DJ Laci Juhász and Vadrózsák Folk Dance Ensemble.
