On November 2, Son Mieux, 10 years old this year, will come to Budapest from The Hague to dance the night away at the Turbina Cultural Centre.

    The Dutch indie band was formed in 2015 under the leadership of Camiel Meiresonne, and since then they have been playing a lot of shows, and after their show in February last year, they are back to Budapest this year. Live performances have become their trademark strength, turning every show into an unforgettable celebration for the audience and themselves. Son Mieux have conquered the main stages of the biggest Dutch festivals and have clearly put themselves on the European festival map. Son Mieux have toured extensively, playing to sold-out crowds in Europe's cultural capitals, including London, Berlin, Hamburg and Zurich, as well as in Hungary last year.

    The Hague-based band was originally a solo experiment by Camiel Meiresonne, who wanted to try himself as a singer-songwriter, after a past as a composer with several bands. Son Mieux eventually grew from an experiment into a successful band, a seven-piece group that creates an irresistible soundscape, elegantly weaving rhythms with poignant, story-driven lyrics to create their unique indie sound.

    So far they have released two studio albums and several singles, Tonight and Multicolor being the two best known, which have reached platinum status in the Netherlands.Their song This Is The Moment, released in 2024, featured Nile Rodgers, which has further raised the band's profile, both professionally and with the public.

    Son Mieux are getting more and more attention, thanks in large part to the incredible energy at their shows, so it's not worth missing the Budapest party. On 2 November, the audience will be able to catch the band at the Turbina, where tickets go on sale on 7 February at 10am.
