Danubius Hotels and Opinio made a quick representative survey among Hungarians and asked them about their holiday goals after pandemic restrictions end. 48% of those questions would choose to go to a lake, 44% to explore a new town, 38% to go to a restaurant and 31% would see friends for the first time after travelling without restrictions is available again.

Last year half of the people taking part in the survey chose a Hungarian location instead of going abroad because of the coronavirus, while this year 43% of the Hungarians are planning to go for a local destinations instead of crossing the borders, after the restrictions end – but this time not because they wouldn’t have another options.
