This year, the Furmint February event was organized for the third time, at which 39 Hungarian wines were presented in an online master course jointly organized by the Hungarian Agricultural Marketing Center (AMC) and the Wines of Hungary UK communication agency.
The aim of the event, which served as a wine tasting, business development meeting and wine promotion event, was to promote furmint, one of the most important white grape varieties in Hungary, and through it to promote Hungarian wines in one of the most important target markets for Hungarian wine exports in the United Kingdom.
In the current pandemic situation, the Agrármarketing Centrum (AMC) helps the introduction of producers and wines present in foreign markets and new entrants with online masterclasses and wine tasting programs, supports the further strengthening of business relations and the development of wine export activities with online business development meetings.
