The Hungaricum Festival, which has been awarded a rating of excellence, will take place once again this year in Szeged from August 10th to 13th.
There are several accompanying events in addition to the main programs, and guests of the festival will be able to taste specialty dishes of grey cattle, mangalica, goose liver or truffle in the participating restaurants and pastry shops downtown. Several exhibitions will be available for guests and similar to previous years, Zsolnay porcelain and Halas Lace will be introduced in the Somogy Library. Of course again this year, the "Szegedikum", or in other words the Hungaricum from Szeged, like the world-famous Szeged slippers, paprika, honeysuckle, onions from Makó or peaches from Szatymaz will be displayed. During the 4-day festival in Széchenyi Square, you will be able to find pretty much all the traditional Hungarian products from pálinka and wines through to traditional handcrafts.
