Left To Die is one of death metal's seminal bands, carrying on the legacy of Death with former Death members. The band already played an unforgettable show at Analog Music Hall last year, and now they're returning to Budapest to bring the songs of Leprosy to the audience again on September 20.
Left to Die is a Florida based death metal band consisting of former Death members Terry Butler (bass) and Rick Rozz (guitar). Terry (also known from Obituary) and Rick teamed up with Gruesome members Matt Harvey (guitar, vocals from Exhumed, etc.) and Rick (guitar, vocals from Exhumed, etc.) and Gus Rios (drums, ex-Malevolent Creation) to perform the classic Leprosy album in its entirety, as well as tracks from Death's debut Scream Bloody Gore, and keep the legacy of these seminal albums alive.
The Death story ended with the death of founding frontman Chuck Schuldiner in 2021. The Left To Die tribute band was born to bring Death's iconic album Leprosy back to life, as well as songs from their early years from Scream Bloody Gore. And there's plenty of demand from audiences to experience these electrifying songs live, so thankfully after their European tour last year they're crossing the ocean again and returning to Budapest to evoke the Death spirit at Analog Music Hall on 20 September.
