One Ok Rock conclude their world tour in Budapest

17 March 2025

One Ok Rock has only been in Hungary once during their career, and tickets for their 2019 concert sold out in hours. Now they are returning with their latest album Detox, this time to the Budapest Arena on 30 October, as they will finish their biggest world tour so far in the Hungarian capital.

One Ok Rock have announced their biggest ever European tour as part of the Detox 2025 world tour. The 16-stop concert tour kicks off in Madrid on 6 October and will conclude in Budapest on 30 October at the Budapest Arena.

Tickets and VIP packages will be available starting with an Artist Presale and Live Nation Presale beginning on Wednesday, 19 March at 10am. This will be followed by Bandisintown and Spotify presales, both starting at 10am on March 20. General onsale start on 21 March at 10am.

One Ok Rock was formed 20 years ago in Tokyo, inspired by the fact that they used to rehearse regularly at 1am because it was cheaper to pay for the rehearsal room. The practice has paid off handsomely since then: One Ok Rock has become one of Japan's most popular bands, from filling small clubs, now had sold out the biggest arenas and stadiums, opening for Muse, and playing to 190,000 fans on their 2024 world tour, almost everywhere in sold out venues. With their emotional songs and energetic concerts, they have blown music fans around the world away with their emo, alternative rock and pop-influenced music.

Founded in Tokyo during 2005, the quartet—Taka [vocals], Toru [guitar], Tomoya [drums], and Ryota [bass]—have unassumingly emerged as a global phenomenon and

one of Japan’s hottest exports with dozens of international gold and platinum

certifications and billions of streams. Beyond six consecutive Top 5 entries and three

#1 debuts on the Japanese Top Albums Chart, the group’s global imprint has grown

with a foothold stateside. They stand out as the rare force of nature who can tour

alongside either The Smashing Pumpkins or Ed Sheeran—with whom they co-wrote

“Renegades” for the film Rurouni Kenshin: The Final. Produced by Rob Cavallo (Green

Day, My Chemical Romance), ONE OK ROCK’s previous album Luxury

Disease debuted at #1 in. Their single from the album, Vandalize was featured as the ending theme for SEGA’s Sonic Frontiers.

The newly announced tour dates support the recent arrival of ONE OK ROCK’s latest full length album DETOX, available everywhere now. Featuring a number of acclaimed producers including multiple GRAMMY® winner Rob Cavallo and GRAMMY® nominees Dan Lancaster and Pete Nappi, DETOX marks the band’s 11th full length, studio release and arrives as the band celebrates their 20th anniversary.  To herald the arrival of DETOX, ONE OK ROCK unveiled the official music video for “Tropical Therapy,” streaming now at the band’s YouTube channel.

ONE OK ROCK will kick off their 2025 DETOX World Tour with a Latin American leg starting in Mexico at the Tecate Pa’l Norte festival in Monterrey on April and highlighted by their first trip back to South America since 2017 to play their biggest shows yet on the continent.  The North American leg of the tour launches in May and marks the band’s most ambitious journey across the United States and Canada to date. After joining Linkin Park for the Paris stop of their longtime friends’ own world tour, the band will return to Japan for their recently announced stadium shows (full itinerary below).  During autumn they head back to Europe, where they conclude their world tour in Budapest on 30 October.
