Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest, operated by Mellow Mood Hotels, supports doctors, nurses and other hospital staff at the Department of Infectious Diseases at Szent László Hospital, and Bethesda Gyermekkórház (Bethesda Children’s Hospital), with 50 lunches every day this month, prepared by the hotel's restaurant Párisi Passage Café & Brasserie.
“The appearance and rapid spread of COVID-19 has a serious impact on our lives. Hospital staff performs beyond all of their strength on a day-to-day basis, and their health and well-being are vital. With this gesture, we wanted to help them and thank them for their work," Andrea Schwindt-Kiss, General Manager of the hotel, said. Executive Chef László Papdi and his team started cooking early in the morning every day to be able to deliver fresh meals on time. “Our goal was to cook simple but delicious, easy-to-have and very nutritious meals,” the chef notes. “Working in hospitals can be extremely stressful and tiring, especially these days, so choosing the right food is crucial.” Schwindt-Kiss added, “This was an excellent example of donation and collaboration, which involved several partner companies of Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest who also volunteered by offering free delivery and packaging.”
