Tomorrow, Sziget Festival will open its doors once again, welcoming festivalgoers and performers from around the world. The build-up at the Obudai Island in Budapest has begun and from August 7-12, the world's biggest artists will perform alongside upcoming talents and performers, complemented by the festival’s diverse programs. Additionally, Sziget is excited to launch its new FutureGrounds zone.

    This year's Sziget Festival introduces thematic zones. For instance, the ArtFusion Field, which brings together various art forms, will host among others the Grand Street Theatre, the Dance Venue, and the Circus. The PlayGround will offer playful programs, while the FutureGrounds zone will feature programs that convey the festival's social messages.

    This year again, there will be thematic program series Think for Tomorrow at Sziget. Think for Tomorrow invites visitors to engage in collective thinking, exchanging opinions, and participating in creative activities. In addition to lectures, workshops, discussions, movies, and debates, all aligned with daily themes such as media consumption, intimate relationships, burnout, climate change, addiction, and the future of humanity.

    At the FutureGrounds zone, you can also find Civil Island. This is one of the most colorful and interesting meeting points at the festival, where young people can get information and assistance on topics such as environmental protection, human and minority rights, studying and working abroad and healthy living.

    In the interactive experience park of XS Land, visitors can learn about the daily challenges faced by people with disabilities, a commitment Sziget has upheld for years to foster greater understanding and inclusivity. Next to the experience park, the Easy XS Camping, equipped with accessible toilets and bathing containers, provides easy access to festival camping and other services for visitors who need special assistance to relax.
