Pöttyös surprised the athletes returning home from the Paris Olympics with a special, never-before-seen, limited edition gold packaged Túró Rudi. The #HajráMagyarok tricolour Pöttyös Túró Rudi was presented in a special gift box to our Olympic athletes on the board of the plane bringing the Olympic team home by Wizz Air flight attendants.

    During the Olympics, all sports fans could get a taste of cheering with the new #HajráMagyarok tricolour Túró Rudi manufactured for summer sporting events. But Pöttyös celebrated the success of our Olympians with an even more special product in gold packaging on board the plane home from Paris. The gold packaged tricolour Turó Rudi is a tribute to those who represented Hungary at the Olympic Games - this product is a privilege of the athletic delegation, as this sepcial edition of golden packaging is not available in stores.

    The collaboration between Wizz Air, Pöttyös and the Hungarian Olympic Committee had other supresies in store already. All fans travelling on Wizz Air's Olympic flights from Budapest received a special tricolour Pöttyös Túró Rudi, so that they could get a taste of cheering - an initiative of Wizz Air and Pöttyös was also supported by Budapest Airport.

    For eight years, the Hungarian Olympic Committee and FrieslandCampina Hungária, Hungary's hugely popular brand, have been working together to bring closer fans to our Olympians who proudly represented Hungary at the Paris Games. In previous years, only the most important element of the packaging, the Pöttyös brand logo, was replaced by the "Hajrá Magyarok!" (Go Hungarians!) sign, but this year the content was also renewed: a lemon-flavoured filling and a red coating paste were used to create the Pöttyös tricolour.

    The whole country supported our Olympians as one. Our athletes won 6 gold, 7 silver and 6 bronze medals, and there were many memorable and brilliant results in the two-week competition. And now the taste of cheering gets replaced by the taste of success, as our Olympians were to celebrat their success with a limited edition Túró Rudi with golden package on the plane home.
